These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of theunapologeticleader.com and frdtlab.com (the "Sites") and any conversations, sessions, products, or services offered through them (the "Services"), operated by FRDTLAB and Amanda Friedt ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Sites or booking a Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
The Sites and Services are operated by FRDTLAB, founded by Amanda Friedt, based in Detroit, Michigan. You can reach us at hello@frdtlab.com.
2. Using the Sites
You may use the Sites for lawful, personal, and professional purposes. You agree not to misuse them, attempt to disrupt them, scrape them at scale, or use them to violate any law or another person's rights.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Sites — writing, frameworks, designs, logos, the field guide, and other materials — is owned by FRDTLAB and Amanda Friedt unless otherwise noted. You may read and share links freely. You may not copy, republish, resell, or create derivative works from the content without written permission.
4. Conversations, Bookings & Payments
Some Services, including Friday Conversations, are booked and paid for in advance through third-party tools (currently Calendly and Stripe). Prices are shown at booking and charged in U.S. dollars. Payment confirms your session.
Our booking and refund policy applies to all paid conversations:
- Reschedule for free more than 24 hours before your session.
- If you cancel, reschedule, or do not attend within 24 hours of your session, 50% of the fee is a non-refundable deposit. The remaining 50% is held as a credit toward a future session, valid for six months.
5. Digital Products
Digital products, such as the field guide, are sold through a third-party platform (currently Gumroad) and delivered as downloads. Because they are delivered immediately and digitally, all sales are final unless otherwise required by law or stated at purchase.
6. Not Professional Advice
The Sites, the Services, conversations, the newsletter, the field guide, and all related content are provided for general informational and strategic purposes. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical, or mental-health advice, and no professional, fiduciary, or therapeutic relationship is created by using the Sites or booking a conversation. Decisions you make are your own. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.
7. Third-Party Links & Services
The Sites link to and rely on third-party services (including Substack, Calendly, Stripe, Gumroad, and others). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers
The Sites and Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, result, or uninterrupted access.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FRDTLAB and Amanda Friedt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Sites or Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in question.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted here. Continued use of the Sites after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
